If the diameter of the shaft is d and the diameter of the tooth root circle of the gear is df, when df-d≤6～7mn and the gear diameter is not related to the diameter of the matched shaft, the The pinion and the shaft are made into one body, and when df-d>6～7mn, the gear and the shaft should be designed separately and connected by a key, and the shaft shoulder, sleeve, seal and bearing end cover should be used in the design of the shaft. The axial fixation ensures the horizontal and axial accuracy of the bearing and shaft.

The selection type of bearing often takes into account the magnitude, direction and nature of the load. When the reducer is subjected to radial load and small axial load, deep groove ball bearings are often selected, with large radial load and small axial load. Cylindrical roller bearings are often used. When the reducer is subjected to large radial and axial loads, angular contact ball bearings and tapered roller bearings are often used. When the reducer only bears axial load, thrust bearings should be used.
