Analyze the current situation of overheating of gear oil pump motor and troubleshooting

Gear oil pumps are mainly used for oil medium transmission, pressurization, fuel injection, etc. in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, mining, power stations and other industries, as well as thin oil circulation in large mechanical equipment, and can be used as lubrication pumps in various mechanical equipment use.

Motor overheating is a common problem in the working process of gear oil pumps. The specific analysis and testing are as follows:

1. The scope of application (flow rate, head) exceeds the design requirements of the gear pump?

Select the appropriate motor according to the series type spectrum

2. The specific gravity of the medium exceeds that of the gear oil pump equipped with the motor?

Configure a suitable motor for Dajiang gear oil pump

3. The packing gland is pressed too tightly or the mechanical seal spring is adjusted too tightly?

Readjust the spring compression of the gland or mechanical seal

4. The pump assembly quality is poor, there is friction or the motor is not concentric with the pump shaft?

Check the assembly quality and eliminate assembly faults

You can analyze the above conditions one by one to find out the real cause of the motor overheating, and repair and deal with it according to the corresponding failure.
